{"id":201,"date":"2023-10-25T16:30:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-25T16:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/games.rpgmakertimes.info\/explorers-guild\/?p=201"},"modified":"2024-01-01T08:17:21","modified_gmt":"2024-01-01T08:17:21","slug":"201-dbgshc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/games.rpgmakertimes.info\/explorers-guild\/201-dbgshc\/","title":{"rendered":"Game Dev Log 0.1 &#8211; System Idea Update"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Official Rename<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The game is now officially renamed to <em>The Explorer&#8217;s Guild<\/em> (TEG) to keep in line with the original Smile Game Builder concept and vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides, it&#8217;s easier to type and say! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">System Development<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I started developing TEG&#8217;s core system, including Attributes, Traits and Morality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Attributes<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>TEG has additional attributes or stats used for certain skills, situations and dialogue requirements: Strength, Confidence, Charisma, Intelligence, Dexterity, Stamina, Perception and Luck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Traits<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Personality traits define you as a person as your main characteristic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Morality<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The choices you make will affect your morality and certain traits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Book Reading System<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s also a book reading system (as shown in the video, which is an improved version of the SGB tutorial I did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Turn pages by pressing the left and right keys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also collect the books you&#8217;ve read.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The game is renamed to The Explorer&#8217;s Guild (TEG) to align with the original concept and vision.
